Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2011089626A2] The present invention provides a process for reinforced aluminum matrix composite. The aluminum matrix composite is reinforced with compound selected from the group consisting of Titanium carbide, Titanium boride, Vanadium and Zirconium compounds. The process is carried out pneumatically using pressurized carrier gas. The pressurized carrier gas also provides efficient stirring during the process which leads to uniform dispersion of the particulate in the aluminum matrix.
