[origin: EP2526814A1] The cosmetic unit (1) has a storage container (7) and a mascara applicator with two applicator arms (3a,3b) carrying applicator elements (4a,4b), where the arms are interconnected by a spring element (6). The mascara applicator has a bipartite applicator-side closure elements (5a,5b) for closing the container. The closure element has a bipartite threaded portion, whose primary and secondary portions are formed on respective portions of closure element, such that the closure element can be screwed on to a container-side closure element (17). An independent claim is included for mascara unit.
