Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2527116A1] The press has several press frames (3) and upper and lower press plates (1,2) between which pressing nip is formed. Several cylinder piston assemblies (6) are arranged facing away from upper and lower press plates. The pressure distribution plates (7) arranged between two adjacent press frames are fixed to supports (8). The supports positioned on the pressure distribution plates are displaced by actuators over preset range along press longitudinal direction. An independent claim is included for method for producing wood-based boards.
