The device has first, second, third and fourth godets (2.1, 2.2, 2.4, 2.5), and electric motors (4.1, 4.2, 4.4, 4.5) attached to the godets. Control devices (7.1, 7.3) are attached to the electric motors. The first and second godets arranged one behind the other are controlled commonly as a double godet (1.1) by the control devices. A fifth godet (2.3) arranged between the first, second, third and fourth godets is designed in an individually driven and controlled manner. The first godet forms a drain godet with a guiding sleeve (3.1), where the motors are formed by anti-clockwise motors.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Abziehen und Verstrecken eines synthetischen Fadens in einem Schmelzspinnprozess. Die Vorrichtung weist mehrere angetriebene Galetten, mehrere den Galetten zugeordneten Elektromotoren und mehrere den Elektromotoren zugeordnete Steuergerät auf, wobei die Elektromotoren zwei im Fadenlauf hintereinander angeordnete Galetten gemeinsam als ein Galettenduo durch eines der Steuergeräte steuern und wobei mehrere Galettenduo vorgesehen sind. Um beim Abziehen und Verstrecken des Fadens eine höhere Flexibilität in Einstellung der Abzugsspannung und Verstreckspannung zu erhalten, ist erfindungsgemäß eine zwischen den Galetten der Galettenduo angeordnete Galette einzeln antreibbar und steuerbar ausgebildet.
