Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2527722A2] The device (1) has a light source i.e. LED, for emitting light. A light guiding element (8) has a light entrance surface for coupling a portion of the emitted light and a light exit surface for decoupling a portion of the coupled light. A light uncoupling surface has uncoupling elements for deflecting the portion of the coupled light on the light exit surface. A control element is arranged in an optical path of light that is decoupled by the light exit surface. An air gap is formed between a pane (9) of the control element and the light exit surface.
