Abstract (en)
The device has a cookware detecting unit (18) for detecting a change in the orientation or position of a cooking vessel, particularly pot (14) or pan (16), on a cooking area of a hob (10). A control device (20) is designed for controlling a parameter of the cooking area according to the detected orientation- or position change of the cooking vessel on the hob. An absolute orientation, absolute position or size of the cooking vessel is detected by the cookware detecting unit. A direction for changing the orientation or position of the cooking vessel on the hob is displayed by a display device. An independent claim is provided for a method for operating a hob with a cooking area.

Eine Vorrichtung zur Bedienung eines Kochfeldes (10) mit wenigstens einer Kochstelle enthält eine Kochgeschirr-Erfassungseinrichtung (18), die ausgestaltet ist, um eine Veränderung einer Ausrichtung und/oder Position eines Kochgeschirrs (14, 16) auf einer Kochstelle des Kochfeldes (10) zu erfassen, und eine Steuereinrichtung (20), die ausgestaltet ist, um wenigstens einen Parameter der jeweiligen Kochstelle in Abhängigkeit von der erfassten Ausrichtungs- und/oder Positionsänderung eines Kochgeschirrs (14, 16) auf dieser Kochstelle einzustellen. Der Benutzer des Kochfeldes (10) kann mit Hilfe dieser Vorrichtung das Kochfeld intuitiv und allein mit dem Kochgeschirr (14, 16) steuern.
