Abstract (en)
The method involves inspecting a printed sheet (10) continuously with a camera system. The errors are automatically detected in the print image by electronic evaluation of the image data supplied from the camera system. The detected errors are evaluated during the print run as tolerable or as waste. The total length of the sheet that is printed in the print run up to the fulfilling of the print job increases at the sheet length evaluated as waste.

Verfahren zur Steuerung eines Drucklaufes in einer Rotationsdruckmaschine, bei dem eine bedruckte Bahn (10) fortlaufend mit einem Kamerasystem (14) inspiziert wird und Fehler im Druckbild durch elektronische Auswertung der vom Kamerasystem gelieferten Bilddaten automatisch erkannt werden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die erkannten Fehler noch während des Drucklaufes als tolerierbar oder als Ausschuss bewertet werden und dass die Gesamtlänge der in dem Drucklauf bedruckten Bahn (10) um die als Ausschuss bewertete Bahnlänge erhöht wird.
