[origin: EP2530192A1] The open end-spinning device (1) has a spinning rotor (3) which is rotatably supported in a low-pressure chargeable rotor housing and is pneumatically connected with a release roller (21) over a conically incoming fiber conducting channel (14). The release roller is rotatably supported in a release roller housing (17). A unit is provided for influencing a transport air flow available in the fiber conducting channel. The unit is pneumatically arranged in the area of the fiber conducting channel. A boundary layer-suction unit is installed at the input side of the fiber conducting channel.
