Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2530222A2] The cover (10) has a set of parallel carrier beams (11) provided at rollers (12) on running rails at a pit edge. The carrier beams are articulatedly connected with one another. The connection of the carrier beams takes place via chain link brackets (14) arranged at the carrier beams in a front-sided manner. The chain link brackets downwardly project outside to about 8 mm over a lower edge of running surfaces of the rollers attached to the carrier beams. The carrier beams are formed by extruded hollow section portions and made of plastic. Reinforcing bars or pipes are made of plastic.
