[origin: EP2530235A1] The device (10) has a Venetian blind motor (30) including a motor housing to be fastened to an upper rail (22), and a motor controlling unit (44) including an electrical accumulator i.e. radio receiver, and arranged at the housing. An external energy source (54) i.e. solar energy source (54'), is connected with a charge controller, and a receiving element receives an external input signal to lift, lower or turn a vertically stacked lamella (14). A motor controller is fed by the accumulator, and receives a control signal from the accumulator to control and feed the motor. The external energy source is selected from the solar energy source and 12V battery such as car battery.
