Abstract (en)
The electrically conducting cable comprises a conductor element surrounded by a first layer made of a non-polar material. The first layer is surrounded by a second layer made of ethylene and octene copolymer (50 wt.%) having a chemically reactive surface with grafted polar functions that adheres a third layer made of a polar material. Independent claims are included for: (1) a process for fabricating a cable; and (2) a junction box.

La présente invention concerne un câble comprenant un élément conducteur entouré par une première couche composée d'un matériau non polaire, ladite première couche étant elle-même entourée par une seconde couche, caractérisé en ce que ladite deuxième couche est composée d'au moins un copolymère d'éthylène et d'octène (PEO) comportant en surface des fonctions chimiques réactives polaires greffées, lesdites fonctions chimiques réactives polaires étant aptes à faire adhérer une troisième couche composée d'un matériau polaire.
