[origin: WO2011095720A1] The invention relates to a line start/end post or corner post (1) for a fence, said post comprising a first metal picket (2) to driven into the ground (5) in a substantially vertical position, and a reinforcing element. The reinforcing element comprises a second metal picket (3) to be obliquely placed between the first picket (2) and the ground (5), and a connecting element (4) for connecting a first end (3b) of the second picket (3), laid on the ground (5), to the first picket (2).The connecting element (4) is made of fence wire.
