[origin: WO2011092118A2] The invention relates to a refrigeration appliance having a carcass (1) and at least one door (5; 6), both surrounding a cooled storage chamber (2; 3). In its closed position, the door (5; 6) rests against a frame (11) of the carcass (1). The door has a projection (9) that penetrates into the storage chamber (2; 3) by forming a first gap (12). The depth of penetration of the projection (9) is greater in a central region (14) of the frame (11) than in the edge regions (15) of the frame (11) which border the central region (14).
