Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2532427A2] The cartridge (100) has a drum (108) with a first mixing chamber (124), and a displacement device rotating the drum about a central axis (104) to connect the chamber to a second chamber (126) in a liquid-conducting manner, a gas-conducting manner, or a particle-conducting manner. An electric switch is actuated by the displacement device between a closed switching state and an open switching state. The displacement device includes an inclined surface interacting with an inclined surface of the drum to move the drum from a first position into a second position. Independent claims are included for: (1) A centrifuge comprising the above cartridge. (2)A method for processing a component in a cartridge.
