Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2532432A2] The device has feed vessel which is communicated to cutting platform with motor-driven rotating cutting blades, and pump assembly with sump pump. The cutting platform has cage-like stationary cutter portion (30) having spaced circular rings with mechanically interconnected cutting blocks located and fixed between cover and foot ring. A rotating cutter portion has engagement disc sandwiched in support plate (3.1). The primary and secondary blades are detachably and interchangeably arranged above effective disc in parallel and at angle to operative plane respectively. An independent claim is included for method for operating comminution device.
