[origin: EP2532481A2] The internal spring compressor (1) has a central clamping unit (2), at which two clamping plates (3) are fixed for coupling with a suspension spring. The clamping plates have a receiving surface for receiving a spring segment. The clamping plates are movable to each other by the clamping unit. The distance pieces (4) are arranged on the clamping plates for positive receiving of the spring segment in a replaceable manner.
