[origin: EP2532529A1] The document (2) has two separable parts e.g. label (20) and a card (21), which are linked by hidden data (24) representing authentication information that is readable when the separable parts are positioned in a verification pattern. The authentication information is readable only when a developer is positioned next to the hidden data. The card is allowed to be fixed on an identity document i.e. passport (1). An independent claim is also included for a method for verifying a security document.
