The rack (22',26') has several drive recesses (24a,24a') for engagement of a drive pinion (18,18'), and coupling recess (36a',36b) on top surface (34,34'). A coupling projection (30a',30b) for coupling of the rack with a drive rod (12') of the drive rod fitting (10') or coupling recess of another rack is formed in bottom surface (32'). Independent claims are included for the following: (1) method for manufacturing rack; and (2) drive rod fitting.

Zahnstange (22') für einen Treibstangenbeschlag (10'), die zumindest an ihrer Oberseite (34') mehrere Antriebsvertiefungen (24a') zum Eingriff eines Antriebsritzels (18') aufweist, wobei die Zahnstange (22') an ihrer der Oberseite (34') gegenüberliegenden Unterseite (32') zumindest ein erstes Kopplungsmittel (30a', 30b) zur Kopplung der Zahnstange (22') mit einer Treibstange (12') des Treibstangenbeschlags (10') oder einer weiteren Zahnstange (26') aufweist.
