[origin: WO2011110553A1] The invention relates to a device for computer-assisted processing of bending information relating to a human or animal body, in particular to a back. The device comprises a data recorder (DA) for detecting bending information and/or for reading out detected bending information from a memory, wherein the detected bending information constitutes measurement data (fi (t)) of a bending sensor (BS) and represents the bending of the body in a measurement time period. The invention also proposes an evaluation device (A) for evaluating the measurement data (fi (t)), which device is configured in such a way that it determines, from the measurement data (fx(t)), the bending angles (fi (t)) and bending velocities (Vi (t)) occurring in at least part of the measurement time period in one or more body areas (1, 2,..., n) and from these calculates for a respective body area (1, 2,..., n) movement information, which includes the bending range (WB) of bending angles (ai (t)) occurring in at least part of the measurement time period and the velocity range (GB) of bending velocities (Vi (t)) occurring in at least part of the measurement time period.
