Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2011098515A1] A lighting module (10) for the stationary illumination of traffic routes has multiple light-emitting diodes (20A - 24C) and a light-shaping element (12). The light-shaping element (12) has multiple refractive optical free-form surfaces (26, 28, 30) for shaping light and at least one light-scattering region (32) that is equipped to radiate diffused light that originates from the light-emitting diodes (20x, 22x, 24x) during the operation of the lighting module (10). A traffic route luminaire has a housing and multiple lighting modules (10) that lie in the housing such that longitudinal axes of the lighting modules (10) run adjacent and parallel to one another and light-radiating faces (36) of the lighting modules (10) are arranged in a sawtooth shape with respect to one another. The design according to the invention enables a good illumination of the traffic route area and prevents a glare or disturbance to passers-by and residents.
