Abstract (en)
Shipping container (2) comprising a plurality of walls (4) that form, in use, at least a floor wall (4B) and a plurality of side walls of the shipping container. The shipping container comprises a frame (6A) for mechanically fixing at least one of the walls thereto. The at least one of the walls comprises a fiber-reinforced composite wall material. The shipping container is provided with a lashing eye (20) that is fastened to the frame of the shipping container, and wherein the at least one of the walls is provided with a cavity for receiving therein at least part of the lashing eye.
