[origin: WO2012100789A1] The invention relates to a vacuum die casting-machine that has a casting mold with two mold halves between which a mold cavity is formed, said cavity communicating with a casting chamber that is to be provided with molten metal from a holding furnace. A vacuum is generated in the mold cavity via an evacuating device. Furthermore, a pressure-ascertaining device is provided for ascertaining the mold cavity pressure, and at least one control device is provided, by means of which the mold cavity pressure can be regulated.
