Abstract (en)

[origin: CA2790189A1] The invention relates to an arrangement of aerodynamic auxiliary surfaces, set up for being disposed on the lower face of an aircraft, and further comprising a longitudinal axis (32) and at least one aerodynamic auxiliary surface (20), wherein the aerodynamic auxiliary surface (20) is positioned at a lateral offset relative to the longitudinal axis (32), and wherein the aerodynamic auxiliary surface (20) is set up for generating vortices from an incident flow of air. Vortices caused by the shape of the aircraft are thus compensated for, so that the directional stability of the aircraft can be increased and the aerodynamic resistance can be reduced.
