[origin: WO2011101582A2] The present invention relates to a manhole cover having a frame and buffer provided with a damping and sealing gasket. According to the invention, the gasket (11) has a cross-section having a substantially U shape crowning the skirt (10) and comprising means ensuring positive attachment of the gasket (11) to the skirt (10) of the cover (3) by clipping. The invention is of use in the field of roads and highways.
