Abstract (en)

The method involves supporting a paving screed on a driving frame (10) in a partial manner. The driving frame is coupled to a road paver, and is locked below the paving screed. The driving frame is dragged by the road paver. The weight of the paving screed is partially supported by the driving frame by lowering the paving screed to the driving frame. The axle weight of the paving screed, supported on a rear axle of the road paver, is variable. An independent claim is also included for an apparatus for converting a paving screed of a self-propelled road paver.

Abstract (de)

Aufgrund der von einer Einbaubohle (12) hervorgerufenen hohen Hinterachslast von Straßenfertigern (12) gestaltet sich das Fahren auf öffentlichen Straßen als problematisch, weil auf öffentlichen Straßen die maximal zulässige Achslast begrenzt ist. Straßenfertiger (12), deren Hinterachslast aufgrund der relativ schweren Einbaubohle (11) die maximale Achslast überschreiten, dürfen öffentliche Straßen nicht befahren. Die Erfindung sieht es daher vor, einen eine Einbaubohle (11) aufweisenden selbstfahrenden Straßenfertiger (12) mit einem Radfahrwerk (34) zur Fahrt auf öffentlichen Straßen, wobei die Einbaubohle (11) von einem Fahrgestell (10) wenigstens teilweise abgestützt wird, für die Straßenfahrt umzurüsten.
