Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2538135A2] The component (10) has an electrically excitable ignition element (34) embedded into the structure material of a bottom wall (14). The bottom wall and the ignition element are penetrated through an ignition air inlet opening (40). A vaporization heating element (36) surrounds a liquid inlet opening region e.g. fuel supply line, in a circular segment of the wall. The ignition and/or heating elements are made of ceramic material. A vaporizer medium carrier (12) is made of insulation ceramic material. Porous vaporizer mediums are made of metal foam material or ceramic foam material. The ignition element is designed as a ring segment.
