[origin: WO2011103871A2] The invention relates to a circular blade with stand for cutting up and portioning animal products to be cut, comprising a circular blade (9) rotating about a rotational axis (10) on a vertical cutting plane, said circular blade being driven by a drive motor (13), and comprising a horizontal working plane on which the product to be cut is supported and guided in a transverse manner in relation to the vertical cutting plane, the drive motor (13) driving the circular blade (9) using an angular gear (14) and is held in a fixed position on the stand (1) above the circular blade (9) so that a free working area is provided on both sides of the circular blade (9) for the uninhibited handling of the product to be cut.
