[origin: WO2011079850A1] The invention relates to a method for producing a composite body (100) made of at least one self-supporting surface (30) and at least one element (20, 20a, 20b, 20c) connected to the surface (30) in a coating process, wherein the following steps are performed: (a) providing a negative mold (10) comprising the at least one element (20, 20a, 20b, 20c) of the composite body (100), (b) selectively ablating a surface (18) of the negative mold (10) to be coated with the at least one self-supporting surface (30) by a defined first thickness (d14) so that the at least one element (20, 20a, 20b, 20c) stands out from the surface (18) as a projection (22) at least in areas, (c) depositing one or more layers (32, 36) for forming the at least one self-supporting surface (30) having a defined second thickness (d32, d36), wherein an elevation (38) forms in the area of the projection (22) of the at least one element (20, 20a, 20b, 20c), (d) leveling the coated surface (40), wherein the elevation (38) is removed, (e) selectively removing at least parts (10a, 10b, 10c, 10d) of the negative mold.
