[origin: WO2011103956A1] The invention relates to a display device (15) of a motor vehicle, namely a hybrid vehicle, which displays a map (16) corresponding to a current vehicle position in a controlled manner by means of a navigation device, wherein at least two areas (17, 18) can be shown on the map (16) depending on the available fuel amount and depending on the available electrical energy, namely a first area (17), which can be reached by using the available electrical energy in purely electric-motor driving, and a second area (18), which can be additionally reached by using the available fuel amount in purely internal-combustion-engine driving and/or combined electric-motor and internal-combustion-engine driving.
