[origin: EP2540641A1] The package has an elongated body (1) including an internal volume adapted to and arranged to receive welding rods. A cap (2) is connected to the body by a hinge. The hinge comprises a flexible strip (4), and the cap is movable in translation and in rotation relative to the body via the flexible strip. The strip includes an end freely cooperating with a guidance unit formed by the body or the cap so as to allow movement of the cap relative to the body, and another end fixed at the cap or the body. The body, the cap and the flexible strip are made of plastic material.
