Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2405043A1] The device (10) i.e. circular knitting device (11), has a guide channel (14) with channel cross-section whose channel width is measured from a flat side of a channel wall to a flat side of another channel wall. Channel depth of the cross-section is measured parallel to the walls away from a floor and measured to be three quarters and 5 times the size of the width. A knitting tool (16) i.e. latch-type needle, includes a shank that is arranged in the channel to be shifted along longitudinal direction and provided with a base extending from the channel.
