[origin: EP2541005A1] An exhaust gas control apparatus for an internal combustion engine includes a filter (32) that collects particulate matter in exhaust gas; and a control device (25) that performs a recovery process for the filter (32). The control device (25) calculates an oxidation speed of the particulate matter in the filter (32) on a basis of a thickness of ashes deposited in the filter (32).
