The device (1) has a feeding device (9) which is arranged in downstream of cutting knives for conveying food products (3) in a conveying direction. The feed device has carriage (11) on which food product is arranged. The carriage cooperating with product holder (13) is movable along the conveying direction. The carriage is coupled to a linear drive unit by which the carriage is movable along the conveying direction.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Aufschneiden von Lebensmittelprodukten, insbesondere Wurst, Fleisch oder Käse, mit einer Produktauflage, die zwischen einer, insbesondere geneigten, Arbeitsstellung und einer, insbesondere horizontalen, Beladungsstellung verstellbar ist, wobei in der Beladungsstellung die Produktauflage mit wenigstens einem Produkt beschickt und in der Arbeitsstellung das Produkt einem der Produktauflage nachgeordneten Schneidmesser längs einer Förderrichtung zugeführt werden kann, wenigstens einem Produkthalter, der in der Arbeitsstellung mit dem Produkt zusammenwirken kann, und einer Führungseinrichtung für den Produkthalter, mittels welcher der Produkthalter an zwei senkrecht zur Förderrichtung beabstandeten Seiten geführt ist.
