Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2543503A2] The method involves providing a press comprising a plate-like die with nozzles (13), which are formed as continuous holes. The plate-like die is heated to temperature above boiling temperature of moisture i.e. gaseous moisture, contained in a moldable material to dry the moldable material pressed through the nozzles. The moldable material is dehumidified and compacted by passing the moldable material through conical portions (17) of the nozzles. The moisture is frozen before the moldable material is emerged from the nozzles. An independent claim is also included for a device for simultaneously producing multiple strands from a moldable material by using a press.
