[origin: EP2543744A1] Treating steel product, preferably rolled product after hot forming process for improving yield strength and tensile strength, comprises (a) cooling the steel product after hot forming at a high cooling rate, using cooling water, and (b) subjecting the steel product to a heat treatment after cooling, preferably annealing on spherical carbide. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a device for treating the above steel product, comprising a device for cooling the steel product after hot working with high cooling rate, preferably by water cooling, and a device for heat treatment glow in globular carbides of the cooled steel product; and (2) steel products, preferably rolled products with improved yield and tensile strength are obtainable by the above mentioned process.
