[origin: WO2011110201A1] The invention relates to an articulated fitting for seating furniture comprising a support element, which can be folded by means of a folding joint from an initial position that is laterally arranged relative to the seat into an end position in front of the seat as a leg support, wherein the surface of the support element that is the upper or lateral surface in the initial position is the lower surface of the support element in the final position. Said fitting comprises a shifting device, by means of which the final position of the support element can be shifted in front of the seat or the seating furniture frame beyond the position determined by the folding joint.
