[origin: WO2011110559A1] The invention relates to a container system comprising a container (1) having a upper container part (11) and a lower container part (12), having a floor (121) and a peripheral lateral wall (122) mounted thereon, wherein the side wall (122) together with the floor (121) bounds an interior of the container (1) suitable for storing objects, and wherein the container (1) comprises a closed state in which the upper container part (11) and the lower container part (12) jointly close off the interior from the outside, and comprises an open state in which the interior is accessible from the outside, and at least one additional container (2) comprising a connecting structure (223) and suitable for storing further objects, wherein the additional container (2) can be removably attached to the lateral wall (122) in the open state of the container (1) by means of the connecting structure (223), and wherein the upper container part (11) is disposed relative to the lower container part (12) in the closed state, so as to prevent removal of the additional container (2) from the container (1).
