[origin: WO2011110557A1] The invention relates to a switch that can be used, inter alia, in a resistor insertion device and does not require additional movable mechanical parts. Said switch essentially comprises a flexible toroid helical spring (8) arranged in a notch of the control rod (1) having the contact for inserting the resistor (2) and springs (4) arranged around the movable contact for inserting the resistor and intended to be compressed up to a certain value at which the flexible toroid helical spring (8) is capable of deforming under the force applied and enables the withdrawal (2) of the movable contact for inserting the resistor. The invention can be used for high and very-high voltage circuit breakers and switches.
