Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2011110778A1] The invention relates to a method for transmitting data packets in a communication network using a plurality of radio frequency channels, at least two of said radio frequency channels being concatenated so as to form a concatenated channel. The method includes: a first step (21) of acquiring and reserving at least one of said radio frequency channels from said concatenated channel, thus reserving a first frequency band FB1 for transmitting data packets to a first target device; a second step (22) of acquiring and reserving radio frequency channels from said concatenated channel that were unreserved during said first step for acquisition and reservation, thus reserving a second frequency band FB2 for transmitting data packets to at least one second target device; at least one step of selecting a data packet from among said data packets that are to be transmitted to at least one second target device; a step of generating at least one preamble specific to said selected packet, the preamble(s) including at least one simultaneous transmission indicator on said first and second frequency bands; and a step (23) of simultaneously transmitting said data packets on said first and second frequency bands, from said selected packet and said specific preamble(s), before said selected packet on said second frequency band.
