[origin: EP2545796A1] The system allows a hose-shaped or strip-shaped decoration-or functional element (3) e.g. LED-hose or electroluminescent element, to be detachably connected with a helmet shell (1) and/or a helmet by connection elements e.g. push buttons, clamping elements, Velcro(RTM: Hook and loop fasteners), fastening hooks (5) plug-in elements, removable and/or permanent elastic adhesive or joints of the functional element. The connection elements are formed as a magnet connected with the decoration-or functional element. An end of the functional element is inserted into a fastening hole (4). The decoration or functional element is light reflective, phosphorescent or luminous.
