[origin: EP2546138A1] The diving equipment has a compressed air source (1) that is connected to a breathing apparatus. An emergency valve (18) is moved through a control line (19) in an emergency position after a defined period of time and in the absence of respiratory activity on breathing apparatus, so that vest is connected with the air source. The emergency valve is jointed to a control line (20) by surrounding water pressure, so that control action is performed by control line (19) with respect to disproportionate control. An inflatable vest (2) is connected to air source for inflating or to outlet for venting air, during normal operation, by way of which an ascent can be balanced. A control device (8) having a time control unit (9) with pneumatic delay, which is activated by connection with the air source.
