[origin: EP2546590A2] Nozzle wall element for a cooling tunnel for cooling products e.g. dairy products, by stacking the products to be cooled, and subjecting the obtained product stack (7) to a coolant flow (6), which is supplied to one side of the product stack, through nozzles in the nozzle wall element, penetrates the product stack, and is suctioned on the other side of the product stack, comprises a frame element (15) and a contact surface element with nozzles, where a contact surface of the contact surface element (16) is contacted at least partially with the product stack during cooling process of products. Nozzle wall element for a cooling tunnel for cooling products e.g. dairy products, by stacking the products to be cooled, and subjecting the obtained product stack (7) to a coolant flow (6), which is supplied to one side of the product stack, through nozzles in a nozzle wall element, penetrates the product stack, and is suctioned on the other side of the product stack, comprises a frame element (15) and a contact surface element with nozzles, where a contact surface of the contact surface element (16) is contacted at least partially with the product stack during cooling process of the products such that the coolant flow flows directly into the product stack by a part of nozzle openings. An independent claim is also included for cooling the products e.g. dairy products.
