[origin: WO2011113171A1] The shoe sole according to the invention has a flexible outsole (5), which is, for example, waterproof and protects the further elements of the shoe sole from water and/or sharp objects and makes the shoe slip-resistant. The outsole may have a drawn-up edge (5.1): furthermore, the shoe sole has an intermediate sole. The intermediate sole has a carrier (7, 8) with a plurality of clearances, which, for example, pass right through from the outside to the inside. The carrier is elastically compressible. Arranged in the clearances are pin elements (9), the elastic compressibility of which is at least (significantly) less than the compressibility of the carrier, wherein optionally the pin elements are substantially not elastically compressible at all.
