Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2011114054A1] The rescue device for the passengers and crew of a ship includes: a container (10) that contains survival equipment; a system that is intended for stowing said container (10) relative to the deck of the ship and contains at least one strap (14) and a system for multimodally attaching and releasing said container (10); an airbag-type inflatable balloon (30) set up between a structure (11), secured to the deck (9), and said container (10), said structure defining a passage for the passengers when needed; and a means for releasing the airbag (30) set up on the wheelhouse of said ship. The frame-shaped structure (11) is formed of: two side posts (12); a lower cradle (13), on which said container (10) rests; an upper crosspiece (23); and a plate (26) set up inside the ship and acting as a counterbearing for the airbag when said container (10) is ejected.
