[origin: WO2011113539A2] The invention relates to a food packaging container (1), especially for pourable or liquid to pasty foods such as milk products, preferably for yoghurt, cream or cream products, comprising a flat base and a tube-shaped peripheral wall (2) which extends from the base (4) in a vertical direction (H) to a closure portion (9) on which two parallel peripheral wall portions (10, 11) are fastened to one another, preferably by sealing. According to the invention, the base (4) is formed by a component (3) which is separate from the peripheral wall (2) and on which the peripheral wall (2) is fastened, preferably by sealing, and a tear-open aid is provided at a distance from the component (3) for the purpose of tearing open the peripheral wall (2) more easily in order to expose an opening cross section.
