[origin: WO2011114034A1] The invention relates to a covering device, in particular for an outside pool, said covering device consisting of the assembly of modular elements, including profile sections (3) and panels (4). Said covering device comprises at least two profile sections (3) that each have two parallel and opposite longitudinal edges (30), each comprising at least one retaining groove (31), and moreover comprising at least one panel (4), each of the two opposite edges of which is provided with a retaining member that is designed to be slidable and retainable in a retaining groove (31) of one of said profile sections (3). The profile sections (3) and the panels (4) are made of materials that enable the bending of the thus-created assembly with a view to being able to form an arch that extends over the area (2) to be covered. Said covering device further comprises a means for holding the ends (38) of the profile sections (3) stationary.
