[origin: WO2011113696A2] An energy-regulating device (2) for regulating hybrid energy sources (E1, E2) for an aircraft is designed to determine an operating characteristic of an energy source (E1, E2), a requirement of a first required resource of at least one first consumer (V1), and a requirement of a second required resource of a second consumer (V2). The energy-regulating device (2) controls the energy sources (E1, E2) dependent on the requirement of a first required resource and a second required resource, and when an excess first or second required resource, which can be provided by the energy source, is not required, said energy-regulating device supplies a third consumer (V3) with the excess required resource. An energy system can thereby drive different consumers independent of the type of generated required resources and the dependencies thereof, said dependencies occurring during the generation.
