The method involves introducing objects (20) into an inner chamber (13) of a drum (1) that is impinged with compressed air. The objects are guided to holding positions at an outer periphery (5) of the drum by radial channels in the drum. The drum is designed as a trough drum, in whose trough (3) is arranged at the outer periphery. The bar-like articles of the tobacco processing industry, particularly filter bars, are conveyed in axially transverse manner. An independent claim is included for a device for separating objects of the tobacco-processing industry.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Vereinzeln von Objekten der Tabak verarbeitenden Industrie. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner eine Vorrichtung zum Vereinzeln von Objekten (20) der Tabak verarbeitenden Industrie, sowie eine Maschine der Tabak verarbeitenden Industrie. Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass die Objekte (20) in einen mit Druckluft (15) beaufschlagten Innenraum (13) einer Trommel (1) eingeführt und durch, insbesondere radiale, Kanäle (7) in der Trommel (1) zu Haltepositionen am äußeren Umfang (5) der Trommel (1) gefördert werden.
