Abstract (en)
The device has an inlet to be connected to a cartridge (2) of compressed gas i.e. carbon dioxide at high pressure, for allowing the gas to expand into an air intake chamber (32). The intake chamber has an opening (6) allowing atmospheric air to be admitted and an outlet (28) to be connected to an inflatable bag. An intermediate distribution chamber is arranged between the inlet and the intake chamber for connecting the inlet to the intake chamber. Ejection holes are formed to open into a lateral wall of the intake chamber to connect the intake chamber to the intermediate distribution chamber.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif portable de gonflage rapide d'une poche gonflable (60), de forme générale allongée, comportant au moins une entrée (46) destinée à être reliée à une source (2) de gaz comprimé sous haute pression, pour permettre la détente de ce dernier dans une chambre d'admission d'air (32), l'entrée étant associée à un mécanisme (10, 20) de déclenchement de la libération du gaz comprimé vers la chambre d'admission d'air, cette dernière présentant une ouverture (6) destinée à permettre l'admission d'air environnant et une sortie (28) destinée à être reliée à la poche à gonfler. Le dispositif comporte en outre une chambre intermédiaire de distribution (56) du gaz comprimé, agencée entre l'entrée et la chambre d'admission d'air pour les relier l'une à l'autre et des trous d'éjection (58), agencés de manière à déboucher dans une paroi latérale de la chambre d'admission d'air (32) pour connecter cette dernière à la chambre intermédiaire de distribution.
