[origin: EP2548621A2] The balancing device has a balancing rope (3) that is stretched over two support structures (10) that are spaced apart with a spacer. The spacer comprises two sections (1,2) that are connected with one another. A beam (7) is provided in the section (1), and two bars (8) are provided in section (2). The end portion of beam is overlapped with end portion of bars. The fastening units (5,6) are arranged at overlap region of two sections to ensure the rigid connection.
